The building is old and very rundown looking from the outside. Inside was better, some updates had been done including painting our bathroom ceiling. Unfortunately the paint went down 6" onto the walls so not sure if our room was completely done. There was a target and a grocery in the mall parking area so very handy to grab supplies. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and courteous. We slept very well, the hotel was nice and quiet throughout the night. The parking lot was spacious and secure. We chose it mainly because it was dog friendly - and gotta say - the dogs were really happy. The late night walk around the hotel was fabulous - plenty of grassy areas to chuck a ball, and the place was quiet in spite of relative vicinity to I-5. The staff was really nice, the included breakfast was an american standard, and the swimming pool was large enough to swim a little before bed time.Guest review byjanaYoung couple
