    Having your own space was nice, and so was having your own parking spot. It was close to a little of everything.

    A quiet, medium-sized cabin with a bedroom, a kitchen and a living room, plus an outside balcony right next to a small river. Plenty of parking, pet friendly. A commercial zone with a supermarket and quite a few restaurants is about 10 minutes walk (2 minutes drive). The town of Cherokee is about 5 minutes drive and is interesting to visit. We saw a lot of elks near Oconaluftee river trail.

    Cheap. Very cheap. Surprisingly, much cleaner that I though it would be considering the low-budget price. Has AC unit. And small fridge. And the parking. And four walls and the roof. Overall, very outdated, rural and brutal motel (which we would expect and did not have high hope and expectations)
