We always like home off the beaten track and this one is lovely. It’s a large colonial period house set in a very large plot shared with the Blesbok and impala along with lovely birds and wildlife to spot coming in and out. There is a well-stocked lake to fish and short walks around the area. We found it fantastic, relaxing and the reception from the owners/family was super. We sat out one side of the house to beautiful sun rises and the other we saw sun sets. With 4 double bedrooms if can take a large family with ease. Maddi our host was super and could not do enough to see we were happy there. We be back loved it thank you.

Though there was no breakfast the place was clean and easy to find and good value for your money.Though still under renovation,Prince made sure it is kept clean and the bed comfortable. When the renovation are complete it is going to be one of the best places around.

Great value for money. The place is very beautiful, full of nature. The house was very clean and the bed so comfortable😌 . The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is amazing. On arrival Barbara greeted us with a warm smile and gave us a tour of the cottage. What an amazing Christmas, for Christmas day we had some family over, Barbara and her staff went out of their way. Barbara set up a tent with stunning decorated tables, she even put up a Christmas tree for us. There were some extra guests that arrived that we did not know about, and Barbara was a phone call away to assist with extra chairs, a table and setting. Boxing day Barbara took us on a tour around the farm, she has such a passion for what she does, even my grown-up children enjoyed the interaction with the farm animals. The day we left Barbara greeted us with an arm full of fresh eggs and farm veggies and some inspirational books. Christmas 2024 will be an everlasting memory, and we will surely be returning for a weekend getaway.

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Rayton, Diamantvallei Landgoed is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden.

Staff so friendly and so efficient and caring. Special thanks to Lalie for her warmth and kindness. While visiting my family in South Africa My mom sadly passed away and Lalie greeted us with such empathy. Staying at Diamantvallei was like been at ‘home’. Also a huge thank you to Janke for your warmth and hospitality. For the delicious meals you prepared for us and for your empathetic ears and warmth you showed us. As for the accommodation our room was Cosy especially having our own fireplace in the bedroom. The entire experience was one of peace and calmness. We will definitely be back exceptional value all round.
