The facilities were top-notch, well-maintained, and provided everything I needed for a comfortable visit. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the property; everything was spotless and inviting. The hospitality was also exceptional, making me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. I highly recommend De Wawielhuis to anyone visiting Calitzdorp!

Gasteria Grange cottage is centrally located, so that Calitzdorp center and also the wineries are in easy walking distance. The lovely owner are living on the same ground and are a good source for ideas how to spend the day. The self-catering cottage has one huge room and an en-suite bath room with a nice huge shower. It is fully equipped, the beds are comfy and there is also a safe parking available. A big plus is the airy, roofed terrace, which can comfortably be used even on hot Karoo days. We can highly recommend staying there!!

The accommodation was very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The owners were very friendly, attentive and kind. I so appreciated the little touches like the sharing of their 'paper' map, being shown the town's Christmas lights and being given a bag of delicious apricots.
