The lodge is nestled in the northern Drakensberg mountains with numerous hikes beginning directly from the lodge. They also offer daily shuttle service up to the Sentinel Peak car park where you can hike to the top of Tugela falls- this is a must-do day trip for hikers. Plenty of other nice hikes start right in frot of the Lodge. They can organise a transfer to/from the sentinel car park. This is great given the road is inaccessible for regular cars.
