Pyramisa Resort is a few minutes sailing to Agha Khan Mausoleum and centre shopping area. All 450 rooms and suites enjoy exotic panoramic views of the Nile, the mountains, tropical gardens, swimming-pools. Our spacious and comfortable rooms are nicely furnished with all modern facilities and Spa. The property was AMAZING! I am so glad we found this place, it was the perfect place to come to after a busy couple of days in Cairo ☺️ We loved everything. The food was delicious, the whole place was super clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Our room was also upgraded which was a real treat! The bed was comfy and the room was very spacious. Our veranda was overlooking the Nile River so we got to see an amazing sunset. There are also shops on site which were perfect as we did not have time to go into town to do any shopping. I bought perfumed and oils and the lovely shopkeeper was so helpful. If we are ever able to come back to Aswan we will definitely stay here again. Osiris Guest House has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Abu Simbel, 1.5 km from Abu Simbel Temples. With lake views, this accommodation features a balcony. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. It was the best guest house that we had during our holiday in Egypt! The room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed !!), with AC and a fan and a small fridge. A nice bathroom with shampoo and hot water. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, it was a pleasure to share some moments in their home. They can cook for you and the food is delicious! They will help you however they can (they bought tickets for us for the lights and sounds show). You can easily walk to the temple from there. Thank you so much, hopefully we will be back one day!

We stayed at Nuba Heart as a family with two children and had an amazing experience. The accommodation was spacious and quiet, with two large bedrooms. It's ideally located—just a short walk from the ferry (only 10 EGP per person), and close to the train station and the local bazaar. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth. A taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and Thameer organized all our tours and even our transfer to our next accommodation in Luxor, all at very good prices. He was always available and ready to help with anything we needed. We enjoyed delicious breakfast and lovely rooftop dinners with a great view. The Nubian village around the guesthouse is full of charm and becomes very lively at night. The locals are warm and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommended, especially for families looking for an authentic experience and excellent hospitality. Our children loved it.

The room is very clean and comfortable. Walking distance from everything. Mr Adel cares about his guests and goes above and beyond. He organized a transfer from Aswan for us for a good price. He also helped us by talking to the bank teller to break down large notes and took us to a restaurant with great vegetarian food. He also prepared us a vegetarian breakfast. The location is nice and quiet and you can hear the birds when you up. He is knowledgeable about Nubian culture and also organizes trips down the Nile. Crocodiles, birds, food, there is a lot more to Abu Simbel than just the temple. Longer stays recommended for those looking for an off the beaten track experience.

Uncle Mahmoud, the owner, is such a classy and kind person—he welcomed us with fresh guava juice and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. He arranged a reasonably priced taxi for a full day to visit the monuments and even offers boat tours on the Nile at fair prices. The kitchen is available if you want to cook, and it’s easy to cross to the city center for just 10 Egyptian pounds. On the day of our departure, Uncle Mahmoud woke up early to help with our luggage and sent someone with us to ensure everything went smoothly. These are genuine, honest, and wonderful people. We can’t recommend this place enough!
