Its 10 min walk from Fira station with many shops supermarkets nearby. The host was very sweet and friendly.

There is a large panoramic seating area and a rooftop terrace with views of the Aegean Sea. The stay was really great at Pension Ptolemeos. Arriving there and being met by this amazingly friendly receptionista was a good welcome and the room was big, clean, and very nice with a view of the pool. The pool itself also was amazing to enjoy after a long day of walking. I am very happy with my stay there and if I would ever visit Santorini again, I will definitely come back to this hotel. Featuring an outdoor pool and a stone-paved sun terrace with sea view, the traditionally built Villa Manos is located in Karterados, within 1.5 km from Fira. The family-run complex also includes a bar-restaurant and offers elegantly decorated accommodation with free WiFi access. The room was much bigger than I expected and very clean. If you are taking the local bus from the Airport, the bus will pass by the bus stop just outside the hotel. Just tell the bus driver beforehand that you are stopping at Manos. Although the hotel is about 20-30 minute walk to Fira centre, it is a very nice walk with good cafes, pastry shops, restaurants and a big supermarket along the way. I really enjoyed my stay with Manos and will certainly stay in Manos again if I am back in Santorini.
