We asked Peso to create a tour for us and we were not disappointed! He is very knowledgeable and is thoughtful about his answers and where he takes you. Food was plentiful and we were greeted every afternoon with a delicious fruit drink. Everyone was so very nice. The bed was comfortable too. 😊

Really lovely, modern, tranquil hotel - good decoration, kind of a cool "Bali" vibe with concrete, wood and good design. Amazing views of quiet rice paddy fields. Communal area and restaurant is a nice place to hang out in the evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful - and should you need help with planning amazing local guidance for tours/visits to funeral ceremonies and grave sites etc. with excellent knowledge, then ask for Rashid who can help you plan both guides and driver. We went out with Yohannes (guide) and Mingu (driver) and we had such a lovely few days with them; they went above and beyond to make sure we saw everything we wanted and more and were so knowledgeable in sharing information about the local traditions and culture. Highly educational and lovely!

L’hébergement Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond se trouve à Tomohon, à 26 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Port de Manado. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. Everything was clean and the view from the terrace was amazing. Make sure to catch at least one sunset from there. Also Riko and Vanda were amazing and caring hosts. We would definitelly come back!

Our room was spacious, clean and our bed was extremely comfortable. We only had to share the upstairs bathroom with one other room, and it had hot water which was very much appreciated.. There’s a lovely balcony and common areas to relax and enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and water. The host is wonderful and truly went above and beyond for us - he allowed us to check-in very early and even cooked us breakfast the morning we arrived, he arranged our onward travel, provided free transport to the bus station and kindly packed some fruit for our journey. He can help you arrange a tour/guide, motorbike rental, find places to eat and visit. Our only suggestion is to be as clear as possible with your guide about what you are wanting to experience / see to avoid any disappointment. Unfortunately we missed a key day of the ma nene festival because of a miscommunication (which was partly our fault too.)

Il faut tout de même avoir soit un véhicule privé, soit un chauffeur, soit un scooter car le logement est à l'écart de la ville et dans les hauteurs. Mais la famille nous a présenté un guide, Piter, qui nous a accompagné et fait découvrir ce magnifique pays Toraja ! Recommandé

Meyske and her mother made me feel at home. Meyske is an incredible person who makes the guest feel part of her family. Cannot miss a tour with her: she is so passionate for her culture and she really involves u in the Toraja traditions. Unforgettable experience! And amazing food!!!

Yakob was an amazing host and guide and I had 4 eventful and beautiful days in toraja. We saw more than I expected I would be able to and each morning started with a delicious breakfast.
