This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

L’établissement Ferndale Retreat Knuckles vous accueille à Rangala, à 18 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Stade international de cricket de Pallekele. En un mot: exceptionnel. Pour faire simple, nous regrettons sincèrement de n’y avoir passé qu’une nuit. Nous conseillons d’y passer à minima deux nuits pour profiter au maximum de ce petit coin de paradis. Non seulement l’accès est assez long et complexe mais surtout y rester deux nuits ne serait pas de trop au vu des randonnées incroyables proposées sur place. Nous n’espérons qu’une chose: y retourner ! Quel excellent dîner et petit déjeuner, préparé et servi avec soin, dans un cadre sublime. Merci pour tout :)

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Their genuine care and dedication to providing a top-notch experience reflected true Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally, the view from the place was incredibly interesting. We were treated to vistas of mountains, paddy fields, and pristine natural environments. It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Overall, our stay at A Frame Riverston was nothing short of magical, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat amidst stunning natural beauty.

L’hébergement Heavens Acres Lodge se situe à Matale, à 44 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Centre commercial Kandy City Center. It's a superb place. Really calming and beautiful environment. It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

The spiritual nature farm is a very warm and familiar place. (This is not a classic accommodation and is therefore exactly the right place for people looking for authenticity) I gained great experiences here and learned a lot about life and nature in Sri Lanka. there is a lot to improve. This is what the spiritual nature farm is committed to. Anyone who wants to can become a part of it. The equipment and comfort were completely sufficient for my needs. Just the thing for nature lovers. There is delicious food and plenty of tea. Thanks to Niro, Umanga, Isuru and kids

Un lieu parfait pour se déconnecter du monde, niché dans les montagnes et plantations des Knuckles. La cabane est très confortable, les vues sont splendides et des treks sont possibles (bien que légèrement chers).

L’établissement The Inn At Matale se situe à Matale, à respectivement 35 km et 35 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Centre commercial Kandy City Center et Stade Bogambara. I was positively surprised. It was actually one of the top accommodations for me in Sri Lanka. I liked everything about it. Especially the comfort and every detail of the room. The bed, the pillows, the armchair, the wardrobe, the desk, the lights, the kettle. Super clean. Very soundproof and quiet, which is quite important to me. Dilini is super nice, speaks English extremely well and is also interesting to talk to. And it was the perfect balance of helpfulness and privacy, which I appreciate. The restaurant across the street has great food for a good price. I was also able to go for some beautiful walks in the surrounding neighbourhood. I would book here again if I am in the area.
