We had Sri Lankan breakfast and the lunch the lodge packed for our safari was a lovely curry. The evening meal was delicious too. The family is so kind and you feel very well looked after. They booked our safari, which was fantastic and we saw 2 leopards, elephants and a sloth bear as well as many more birds and animals. I'd recommend the village walk which the lovely sons took us on. We picked fruit and learned lots about the countryside. Also, book a night safari with the lodge. We had an amazing night and the whole family came with us in the jeep. They were great at spotting animals and the driver got us really close. We saw civits, fishing cats, a jackal, jungle cat and mouse deer. Overall, our stay was the highlight of our holiday.

The property provides lagoon views. An incredibly stylish and beautiful hotel. I was looking for a calm place and this was a perfect match. However, you can socialize if you want. Jessie, the manager, is doing his job with a strong sense of responsibility, Ansalees and other employees are highly professional and kind. Hotel boat can take you to the beach. The place is very popular for kitesurfers and the beach was very windy during my stay, but you can relax perfectly at the hotel pool. The atmosphere there is idyllic. Food was really tasty.
