If I had the time I definitely would have stayed longer. It is so peaceful and the property is beautiful and green. The owners are super kind. Even though the bus stop is quite close by, they picked me up and dropped me off too. I could borrow their bicycle to explore the area which was amazing. They made sure everything was taking care of. Breakfast was good. I booked a safari for a good price and they booked really nice seats for me on the bus back to Kathmandu. The location is amazing, a bit outside of the village centre which makes it super peaceful. Only a little walk (or an even shorter bicycle ride) to the a bit more busy centre. Definitely recommend this place!

The family who own it were beyond lovely and helpful. They arranged a tuktuk to collect me from the next door town after a terrible bus journey, organised brilliant safaris (I saw 7 rhinos in the jeeps, some very close!) and helped to get the bus to Bandipur. He would WhatsApp when Rhinos could be spotted in the village to come and see. The hotel was clean, great location, has mosquito nets over the bed and good working fans (it is very hot in Chitwan in end of May!!).

His dedication to ensuring our experience was seamless and stress-free was truly remarkable. The hotel’s own safari guide, Raj, was another highlight. His passion for wildlife was evident, and his knowledge made our safari experience unforgettable. The team made sure to carefully walk us through all the tour options, helping us choose the best ones suited to our interests. Special thanks to the wonderful waitstaff, Robyn and Kabita, who went out of their way to suggest delicious local dishes and served the best coffee. Their warm service and attention to detail made every meal a delight. This hotel delivers on every front, from outstanding service to thoughtful recommendations. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about its guests, this is it!

I felt so peaceful and relaxed at this place. they have great food options, lots of nice places to sit and watch the river and an adorable puppy. The owners are so lovely too and always happy to help. I booked the jungle walk and the guides they use were super professional and friendly.

This was my second time staying at Tara Guesthouse! Great atmosphere and accommodation from Vicky and his family! They make sure you have a great stay and enjoy your time in the Chitwan National Park area! This is the only place I will stay while in Sauraha! Could not recommend this guesthouse enough!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Sauraha, Tiger Corner Inn Homestay is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the quiet street. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. A hot spring bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The bed and breakfast offers an American restaurant as well as free WiFi. I cannot say enough kind words about this homestay. The family that runs it are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I truly felt like I was staying in the home of a friend. I was in a bit of a time crunch and they organized everything for me. I recommend doing the safari through them as the price and quality is amazing. Thank you again for the great stay, I will miss you!

Hotel Rhinoceros-Homestay is set in Sauraha. The property features mountain and lake views, and is 1.8 km from Tharu Cultural Museum. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Value for this place is amazing! The owner is super nice and helpful and will answer all of your questions and tell you more about the national park, animals and local area. The room is nice and enough to spend a couple of nights. The hotel shower always works. Good internet and if you are lucky, you can see wild animals and many birds from your balcony. Most stayed place in Sauraha.

Hotel Rhino Land is like a home away from home. Raj takes great care of his guests, from picking them up at the bus station, to offering a free welcome walk, and helping with everything they need. One night, he even drove me to see a rhino that was walking through town! The property is a short walk from town, quiet, and set in a lovely garden. I definitely recommend staying with Raj and his family.
