We stayed at the Hilton and Sofitel while on the island but this lodge scored the highest for us on great value and friendly stay. Things we liked - • comfy bed • great, large balcony with nice chairs • well equipped, clean kitchen and bathroom • extremely clean • FREE pick up and drop off from port - which is very expensive in French Polynesia • most friendly, kind and helpful owners • idyllic garden • lovely owners with help you organise tours, trips and things to do on the island • great location on the island - minutes walk from great restaurants, fantastic bakery, bank, supermarket, pharmacy and beach cafes • could easily stay here days / weeks!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Tema'e Beach House is a recently renovated homestay set in Temae, less than 1 km from Temae Beach. With garden views, this accommodation provides a patio. The accommodation offers free shuttle service and a shared kitchen for guests. We had a great stay at Tema’e Beach House and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxed accommodation with the opportunity to meet wonderful people from around the world. The owner, Nick, was always helpful and offered great suggestions and tips for our time in Moorea. The shared bathroom and kitchen with other guests were always incredibly clean, and everyone was respectful of the communal spaces. The location is ideal, with Tema’e Beach just a short walk away. However, I would also recommend renting a car to explore the island fully (I suggest Coco Rider for great prices on electric cars). There are also several additional services available at the house for a very reasonable cost, including laundry, snorkeling equipment rental, and transfers to and from the ferry terminal. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The apartment provides sea views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Amazing! Great facilities, quiet location, very spacious for a couple. Was strategically positioned for visiting the island, with restaurants and beaches closed by. I would recommend a car 200%. Great communication with the team in charge, easy check in and check out. Would not doubt to come back! Dream island and amazing place to stay!

FARE TITAINA is situated in Hauru. The air-conditioned accommodation is 1.5 km from Tiahura Beach, and guests can benefit from on-site private parking and complimentary WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 21 km from Moorea Green Pearl Golf Course. The accommodation provider was very helpful, helped us with everything we needed. The accommodation was very pleasant, in a quiet area. We arrived at the beach by kayak through the canal designated for this trip. I highly recommend the accommodation. Jan

The property is non-smoking and is set 1.2 km from Papetoai Beach. The bungalow is so cute and it’s on a nice property with a pool. The owners really helped me out a lot and were so kind. There are also kayaks to use but I didn’t have time to do that.

Located on the beachfront, this property features a garden. Guests can make use of the year-round outdoor pool or the terrace, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. Beautiful property. Individual rooms (4 in total) with private bathrooms in each. Common areas include the separate kitchen, pool and outdoor seating area. AC worked great, they placed baguettes every morning with butter and jam, the pool was kept clean and the hosts were outstanding. A car is highly recommended to get around the island.

Maison Orange exceeded all my expectations. It was spacious, clean, I could use the washing machine, there is a big kitchen to use, the room has a great size,… huge terrace - the location is perfect - very close to beach by the hotel Tipaniers where you can rent a kayak, go scuba diving, take excursions,… If I come back (which I am already planning to) - I will definitely stay here again!

We fell in love with this place and didn’t want to leave! The views from dinning terrace were absolutely breathtaking—having breakfast/ lunch to that turquoise lagoon every day was pure magic. The hotel’s concept with shared kitchen and fridges is genius, making it so easy to prepare meals while enjoying the island vibe. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the whole place had such a relaxed, authentic feel. We’ll be back for sure!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Each room is fitted with a patio with pool views. A lovely place to stay. Sarah is so welcoming and friendly. She told us so much information about the island. We stayed in the triple mountain room and the views were fabulous. Would love to stay here again
