We stayed at Moana Resort and dived with Haka Dive Centre in March 2025 — an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The resort was peaceful, clean, and just steps away from the dive centre — super convenient after long dive days. Rooms were spacious, had strong A/C, and a private balcony for drying gear. Staff were friendly and helpful, and daily cleaning was a plus. Haka’s team were professional, responsive, and helped us plan the perfect itinerary. Our instructor Andrei was calm, intuitive, and helped me build confidence during my Advanced Open Water course. Diving was smooth, well-organized, and full of marine life. The boat crew took great care of us — even serving fresh fruit and banana bread after dives. A magical dolphin encounter was the cherry on top. The sky pool is where the stayed the most as it has a restaurant and bar. The staff is wonderful! Will definitely book another one next soon! :)

Chris and Chatty prepared a primer (suggested activities, food, rentals, etc.), which really helped in our trip. Stiffany, the caretaker, was quick to respond and was in the area most of the time. Even the hosts themselves were quick to respond through the app. The property itself is a trike ride away from most activities in Panglao and is around 3-5 mins away from the airport. Toiletries, towels, and other essentials were provided.

Guests can use the hot tub, or enjoy pool views. I seriously liked everything about this place! Especially the room, bed, pool, breakfast, staff, quietness. It’s really what you call a resort and there are so many nice details and professionalism about this resort. I do not understand how this place is not a 4 or 5 star resort! I really enjoyed it. And sweet and professional service as well! Thanks to the Mayana Resort!

Located around 49 km from Tarsier Conservation Area, the hostel is also 18 km away from Baclayon Church. The hosts made the stay! Every single person was so kind and accommodating. They even let me stay until 4 pm and shower before leaving. The fans on the bed made the sleep very comfortable. But keep in mind it is a budget stay so the beds are not 12/10 comfy, however I did have the best sleep I had in all my stays in the Philippines and this was my cheapest stay.

We had a quiet corner apartment with patio, slept so well throughout our 11day stay. Well equipped kitchen with pans, plates, mixer, microwave, huge fridge. Sponges, soap, cloths and all. They gave us a tank of water(very appreciated). Quality sheets, pillows, towels. New and functional bathroom. After a week they cleaned the room and gave us new towels, they even changed the shower curtain (who does that?!?) Local boys (Chris & Rechie) always there to help you.
