Self-Checkout was easy. The room is gigantic. The amenities are great. The wifi is strong. Walking distance from the airport.

All rooms have private balconies with views of the ocean and gardens. This is a very nice hotel, brilliant location, nice rooms and facilities, and well maintained.

The property offers barbecue facilities and parking on-site. No meals included, but there was a full service kitchen to make your own. Coffee and tea provided. What makes a stay here exceptional is the family that takes you in like you are part of it. Transport and great tours can be arranged through the host family. I booked 2 days and stayed 7. A wonderful experience.

The location has wonderful views, however, it is a little distance from the CBD which is problem if you're traveling for work. For a holiday a more flexible work schedule - this would not apply. The apartment itself, including Wi fi and all the facilities were excellent and well maintained.

The Coral Sea Resort is a unique blend of warm Solomon Islander hospitality and South Pacific sophistication. Everyone was very helpful, nice restaurant with great service and servers. If I return to Guadalcanal I will stay at this hotel again.
