Helpful and nice owner. Really nice and clean place. Water wasn’t drinkable, but that wasn’t a problem, because nearby was a shop and also a fountain where you could fill up the bottles. There are also some restaurants and bakery open 24/7 with a good bread.

A Hidden Gem Along the Shala River – Highly Recommended! Staying at Livadhi Guesthouse was one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Albania. Nestled deep along the breathtaking Shala River, the journey there — a 45-minute boat ride through dramatic canyons and pristine nature — is an experience in itself. The guesthouse is beautifully located, offering stunning river views, crystal-clear water for swimming, and a peaceful atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. I highly recommend staying at least two nights. I only have superlatives for this spot. This place is heaven on Earth. Book without hesitation! The views are extraordinary! The rooms are clean and comfy. The food is incredible, extremely tasty. All products come from their own production, and portions are massive. The prices for the food are good value. Use the cold pool for a morning bath. We ended up extending our stay by 2 more nights. The hosts are super friendly and will make you feel at home. Lola is a super host! Make sure you get picked up. You can only reach it by 4WD in 1h or by 2,5h walk up. It will be 12 euro 1 way with the hosts (2023), which is a great price as a taxi quoted us 60 euros This is a spot run by a genuine and traditional family who put their heart and soul into the place. They live there over generations, adding to 110 years, built it to look the way it does now over the last 15 years and opened it just 2 months ago. I can't recommend it enough. Is the most genuine experience you'll have. Go with an open heart and mind
