I had the best Host ever. He was really attentive, was checking that I was all right all the time. It was raining so he gave me an Umbrella without me even ask for it, and he shared with me some beautiful Azerbaijani traditions. The room itself is big and very cozy, inside a house with a garden. And the location was excellent, near everything.

Very friendly hosts, they came pick us up from the taxi when we couldn’t find the entrance and gave us a very warm welcome. They both speak English, remembered our names and the lady cooked a dinner for us when we said we hadn’t eaten yet (one of the best dishes in Azerbeidzjan I tried). They told us about the city, had bus schedules and also had breakfast. Room was clean and nice, toilet and bathroom as well (outside). Very walkable to the old town and city center.

Eldeniz Nuxa House is located in Sheki and offers a shared lounge. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the apartment free of charge.

Conveniently located close to the bus station and short walk to town center, this property has everything you need to make your stay at Sheki memorable. There are many supermarkets and decent restaurants nearby. Hosts are awesome and they will help you in anything you need. The decoration and layout is peculiar and a breath of fresh air over standard approached. Beds are fairly comfortable. It seems quite new to me also. I travel a lot, and at this price point (around 20EUR 1 person) it is an extraordinary value. Highly Recommended.

This hotel is a very beautiful hilltop cottage with a very beautiful view of the town from the room window. Breakfast at the hotel served outdoors is also very good. The houseowner Ervin is very kind and hospitality which helped us a lot.

I found Ilgar’s hostel in Lonley planet. I was a little weary getting from Sheki to Tbilisi would prove complicated so I wanted to make a reservation with someone I believed could help me out. Ilgar did not disappoint. Thanks to him I could relax and I made it to Tbilisi with absolutely zero issues. He even texted me after I left to make sure everything was ok. I couldn’t be happier. Also both Ilgar and his wife really are really sweet and Ilgar’s English is the best I heard any Azeri speak during my time in Azerbaijan. For the money the single bedroom where I stayed is really good value. Especially since you stay close to both restaurant Gagarin (which has a formidable view, really quite something) and Karvansaray. Breakfast was great too. Should I return to Sheki I will return to Ilgar’s. Highly recommended!

This is a family style hotel with different types of rooms to choose from. We were very happy during our stay. There’s a beautiful garden with comfortable couches outdoors, very nice environment. The beds are very comfortable, the linen sheets are of higher quality than most good hotels. The air conditioning works great. We appreciate the hearted design of the room and the private bathroom. There’s a separate kitchen we can use to prepare our dinner. The host Orkhan is super welcoming and attentive with good knowledge about where to visit in Sheki.
