It provides, for a relatively modes sum, the full experience of travelling inside Eastern Europe during Soviet times. Consider it more of a full immersion living gulag museum, than a budget hotel. The best place we’ve stayed during our trip. Super clean, modern and comfortable. The only thing to be improve is only the bed sheet if possible using the soft cotton. Other than that, everything is excellent

The apartment is extremely spacious, very clean and tidy. Amenities are great and in good condition. The two bathrooms, washing machine, and the full equipped kitchen are perfect for us. The apartment comes with 2 parking spaces in the basement of the building which is very convenient. We are a group of 4 adults stayed for 2 nights, the experience was quite perfect. The neighborhood is quiet nad peaceful, but right next to the main road although it does not feel noisy. There is a beautiful small island Werd which is just about 10 min walk away which is great for a short walk. The beautiful town of Stein am Rhein is about 10 min drive away.

Good breakfast. our room it was fantastic and the hotel was very restful. It is a converted monastery. There are no televisions in the hotel rooms. we didn’t find this a problem. The food was excellent at the restaurant and the hotel has its own micro brewery. The staff were excellent and very attentive. It is a lovely location in the country and has activities, such as an open-air play and it also put some musical events from time to time

The Schloss Brunnegg is located at the outskirts of Kreuzlingen in an old castle that was turned into a hotel. Konstanz and Lake Constance can be reached within a short drive.
