By beside train station which was great for early berina express train! Easy walk to old town, christmas market. There are also supermarkets and food nearby. Parking available right at the doorstep. Top notch service by the staff especially Fabio and Lina. I left something important in the room and checked out on the way to other cities in Switzerland and Fabio and team tried very hard to contact me and went out of the way to deliver the parcel back to me safety and quickly. Cannot thank the team enough, didn't expect such helpfulness and hospitality. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chur.

Very nice hotel with a good breakfast and comfortable beds. It is a bit far from center but a big plus of the hotel is that for a very law price you are given a guest card which you can use for public transport all over Chur and have discounts for Brambuesch Bahn and free entrance to some museums and other places of interest. And it is very significant as prices in Switzerland leave much to be desired. The bus stop is a few meters away from the hotel Sommerau. Also, despite the fact that the hotel is in the suburbs and close to the main road, you almost don't hear the noise due to the good isolation.

A great place to stay for a night or two. The bathrooms were shared for the whole floor but everything was perfectly clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent.

The beds were super comfortable and location was superb. Lots of light in the spacious room and comfortable temperature. Even had a large desk which provided lots of counter space. We were allowed to check in hours earlier which was very much appreciated. Breakfast was a lavish affair in a lovely room with views of the streets. Staff was exceptionally helpful when my husband had to go to the hospital. The bar in the lobby along with the seating looked very welcoming.

    The room, 51 (4th floor) was one of the refurbished rooms. Work is still going on so the corridor outside the room did not look very attractive (plastic over carpet). The shower was excellent. The hand basin was in the bedroom but was fitted in a unit with plenty of storage space for sponge bags etc. A fridge was provided but no facilities to make a hot drink. The staff were very pleasant. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and liked the hotel location in the old town. It was quiet and only a short walk to the rail station.

    The good; great location, excellent friendly staff, comfortable bed, very quiet, very nice breakfast (continental included in price) The bad; room was tiny & bathroom even tinier, reception on the 1/F & room on the 3/F with no lift. Room was not very clean, esp the carpet, room had a bad smell we think coming from the toilet.

    Comfortable hotel in quiet area of old city. Convenient location. The bathroom was really well designed with everything working perfectly in a compact space. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices to suit all appetites. The small bar near reception was a pleasant place to enjoy a drink before going out. Reception staff were very helpful when asked for assistance with places to eat etc.
