The hotel is very close to the center, but at the same time it is in a very quiet area. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed and the best thing was Kate and the people who work there, very generous and kind. She made our stay much easier with her recommendations and attention. Without a doubt an excellent option, we had a great time.

The Giggling Tree was just perfect! It is an amazing hotel - friendly and welcoming, lovely room with amazing views, wonderful staff and restaurant. Laura was simply brilliant and made some great food recommendations. Eating in the quaint courtyard restaurant area was perfect, especially the Beer fish from the Lijiang River! Great dumplings too! And the pool was a nice bonus with fantastic views. Good bicycles to rent and trips/taxis can be organised. We'd love to return again one day - the scenery is simply unforgettable! Thank you Laura! The perfect start to our China trip – exceptional personal service We couldn’t have asked for a better start to our China adventure than staying at Yangshuo Village Inn Boutique Hotel. Everything about our stay was simply wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly went out of their way to help us – from planning our days to booking tickets and giving us great local tips. You could really feel that they cared about making our experience as good as possible. One morning we had an early excursion, and even though breakfast wasn’t officially served that early, they still arranged something for us. That kind of thoughtfulness really made an impression. The hotel also has its own restaurant serving both traditional Chinese cuisine and Western dishes. After a long day of exploring, it was perfect to come back and enjoy a delicious meal just steps from our room. This place is ideal for anyone who loves the countryside and wants to be close to nature. It’s set in a peaceful, local village environment, surrounded by mountains and rice fields – a dream for anyone looking for something more authentic. The view of Moon Hill from our room was absolutely spectacular – we didn’t even need to line up with other tourists to get the perfect photo. We could enjoy it in peace right from our bed! The location is excellent, the surroundings are calming, and the people in China were among the most welcoming we’ve ever met. This hotel truly set the tone for the rest of our trip – we honestly wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Yangshuo. A true gem that we wholeheartedly recommend! The taxi driver/guide was also amazing.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel in Yangshuo. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the beauty of the scenery. The hotel is nestled among the mountains, and the views are just spectacular. We had a wonderful stay! The view from the hotel was breathtaking. We rented a scooter at a very affordable price, and the staff helped us book tickets for the Impression Liu Sanjie show, which was absolutely amazing. They even drove us to the bamboo rafting area and to the city center whenever we needed. Everyone was extremely kind, always checking in to make sure everything was okay and giving us great advice. Breakfast was tasty too. Highly recommended!

    A quaint, ancient style villa (a few houses connected together) run by the sisters. Right next to a gorgeous mountain, We stayed in their 3-beds room that could fit 6 people. Value for money. The sisters were hospitable and welcoming. Breakfast was local food (guilin noodles, yau char kwai, porridge). While the location is further from town, it was nearer to tourist attractions such as bamboo rafting, moon hill, cable car.

    We loved the hotel from the second we stepped onto the proprety. The front yard was cosy and was a lovely place to have breakfast or dinner. Our daughter could roam around without any danger. The food was amazing and the whole staff was super friendly. English was spoken as well. During our whole trip in China this was our favorite place and we felt sad leaving it. The rooms have a vintage feel and look, the bathroom was modern. The location, the view from the pool, the staff, the food was extraordinary.

    Lovely Asian style family room on the top floor, fantastic location in the old area, with lovely views and backs onto the Li River. Very friendly lady who speaks English and is extremely helpful with great local advice. Loved the terrapin, cat and dog! Delicious breakfast included - lovely to have eggs, bacon and toast as well as fruit and yogurt after weeks in China. Also a delicious Asian breakfast on offer.
