We were visiting with our 5 years old child. The hotel was more than welcoming for us and our child. Easy access by tuk tuk from center palomino. The place is a little secluded from palomino , but it's only 15min walk from palomino beach. 20min walk to the other side you come to a beautiful river at the beach. The swimming pool is also very nicely designed with hot tube and sauna , all with views to the sea. The most amazing feature is the food. Lots of choices , from pizza to pasta to fish to steak and all was amazing. Only for the food we would come back. A recommendation would be the steak with pepper sauce! We would definitely book again.

- Good Budget Room: The room is basic but clean and nicely decorated with natural objects like a chair made from a stump and plants in the bathroom. Very cool with the fan. - Friendly Host: Host Senair is super nice and went out of her way to introduce things about the area to me, including messaging me before my arrival to warn me of construction blocking one street. She is also very eco-friendly with compost and recycling so your conscience is clean. - Food: Delicious well-balanced breakfast with the best arepa I have had in Colombia. Not as dry or bland as many I’ve had during my trip! - Cat: Cute playful cat, what else do you want?

*QUIET: Just off the main road but peaceful and quiet. *MOUNTAIN VIEW: You can see snow-caped Sierra Nevada at sunrise *OWNERS - Miguel and his family (Sandy, Norelis) were incredibly kind and helpful. You immediately feel welcome. they are from Palomino and Miguel has a lot of knowledge about anything you wanna know - he’s always up for a good conversation *TRANQUILITY: The entire place transmits so much peace and tranquility form the noisy town *CABANA with floating bed right next to pool was spacious and had enough storage space (large shelf, table with two chairs on patio) *FLOATING BED was comfortable and not moving much and it had a mosquito net (I traveled by myself) *Waking up to the sound of birds was heaven *Pool was cleaned daily, contained Kids area and was illuminated at night * The entire area was huge with mango and plum trees * BREAKFAST was traditional and delicious (eggs, arepa with cheese, huge fruit plate, hot drink and juice) * LAUNDRY on site is very convenient * GUEST SERVICE: Very attentive for guests - I had a personal request related to the food and they made an exception for me

The place is amazingly cute and really has charm built out of wood. There is lots of communal places to hang out in the shade and hamacas. Plenty of showers and bathrooms. The kitchen is one of the best i"ve seen while traveling: 8 hotplaces and at least 10 pans. And the pans are absolutely not the rotten carcinogenic pans you sometimes find in hostels. The often clean the kitchen so it stays nice and clean. Omar has the beat tips om where to eat or what to do. Of course if you look for AC and pool it might not be your vibe. Bur for backpackers like me it is a dream. I ended up staying a week there. And already want to go back.

    The grounds were gorgeous and hosts were so kind an attentive. The kitchen had everything you need sans your actual groceries. There was coffee, tea, oil, seasonings etc It was well kept, very clean and had the cutest cats relaxing and asking for pets. Had a little villa originally but they had space and moved us to the rooms and shared kitchen. The outdoor space was so nice and welcoming with good internet connection all around

    At the end of my Colombia tour I chose the town of Palomino and this guesthouse. I did everything right. Oscar and Karime are warm people. Not only as hosts, but also to the dogs and cats that live here. It is a quiet area and nothing is missing. Great breakfast, coffee and fruit every morning. Thank you for your hospitality.

    A wonderful location and Oscar and his partner were the perfect hosts. Exceeded expectations and would absolutely stay again. Deedee (one of the dogs) is a little dream.

    This is a wonderful place, located on a tranquil beach where it is possible to swim (no strong currents). The Managers are super friendly and service minded. The food is delicious. They have a Whats App group so you can order food or drinks to the beach, and get updated about events and possible excursions etc. The accommodation is clean and very nicely designed. There are a range of animals including a dog, two geese and two parrot chicks on the premises.

    Quiet area, not too far from beach and super close to restaurants. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a fridge with beers and soft drinks. We had a super lovely Xmas where we all ate together - the team made a delicious BBQ for us all. The pool is always kept super clean. It’s great being somewhere we can relax as parents and not worry about our child causing havoc. The two dogs and two cats are super lovely and tolerant of children
