Everything! The bedroom and bathroom were really clean and big, we had hot water and very good pressure. The whole family were lovely, welcoming and so nice. The view from our bedroom was breathtaking. It was so peaceful (except the dogs barking at night but you cannot avoid that, no matter where you stay in San Agustin). San Agustin is a lovely place and by far, it’s where we met the friendliest people. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, it was a just the perfect stay thank you! My piece of advice for all the dogs you will meet here (and anywhere in South America): find a long and thick wood stick and always have it with you. Dogs are afraid of them and that helped us in a lot some scenarios :) Muchas gracias y hasta luego!

I had room no 28, by far the best view of the valley and river. Spacious room. Breakfast and dinner are very good, Sebastian is the best waiter of San Agustín!

If you like waking up to birdsong in the morning surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers, this is for you. François is very helpful with suggestions and organising jeep tours, house riding, etc. There is a great little restaurant serving very good food. People are very friendly, and I stayed here longer than planned.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The dining room is very elegant and comfortable, with an open fire. Staff excellent. The whole complex was so beautiful and to the high standard. Our host engages with everybody.

It is a perfect location to relax. You are surrounded by nature, beautiful garden, hammocks and still close enough to town that you can walk. Staff was very friendly and they were maintaing the place super clean all the time. Would love to come back some day.

Very beautiful and calm hostel. Definitely would recommend! Spacious rooms, clean kitchen, a beautiful dog and a green garden. Very welcoming and friendly family that runs the hostel. While you're there, make sure to do the trail that goes to 'La Playita'. Only locals know about it. It's free and takes you through green coffee fields.
