The location is very nice. The host is very helpful. I had great time sitting at the balcony and bird watching. I saw lots of birds. The view is so nice. Very comfortable stay. It's very clean.

The room was basically a small private bungalow with a unique feature: an outside toilet and bathroom in that it was part of the small outside garden but sealed off from view. I thought this was amusing though I can imagine some might find it bizarre. Another interesting feature were the birds visible when eating breakfast. I don't believe in feeding the wildlife but it was a pleasure to see so many birds including a few Aras (red parrots). We saw more there than in any of the parks. Breakfast was good and the pizza was good too...made by an Italian so it had to be. Great stopover place when travelling from the north pacific coast to the south atlantic coast.

The location is amazing here. Steps to the beach, which was my favorite part. The ocean is very gentle here, and the sunsets are beautiful. The beaches are a mix of sand and stone so I was very happy for my water shoes. I brought a floatie and floated in the water with gentle waves. There's also a nice clean pool that was quite busy but refreshing to get into. There is a shower by the pool that you can rinse off the salt water. Our room was lovely. We had a full fridge and private bathroom. The kitchen had a hot plate, coffee maker, rice cooker and microwave. Perfect for making our meals. Check-in was very simple and finding the place was also easy. The bed was king size and there was also air conditioning which was lovely. We felt very safe and secure and welcomed by the Costa Rican family that we met each day we were there. Parking was right beside our room. Very safe and secure.
