    We had a large room, high ceilings, absolutely clean, large bed. Tasty breakfast. The lady of charge was very friendly. The location is excellent -- 15 min or less by foot to the historical city centre. 10 min by car to the famous Veste of Coburg, the fortress-museum with a lot of collections, incl. Lucas Cranach the Older and a special courtyard of old canons!

    The staff goes above and beyond. Guests get little bonus gifts, which in my case was free parking on location. The location of the hotel is perfect, mere steps from the central market square.

    The Hotel is perfect in every respect, it exceeds your expectations. The management is really efficient, generous and very friendly. If you are lucky, you can get a surprise free breakfast. By the way, breakfasts are really great by any standards. The location is perfect, the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is so dog friendly that they don't charge extra fees. I strongly recommend The Goldene Traube, you will be pleasantly surprised. Marie

    A lovely, well designed apartment in a great central location. Modern, clean and well kitted out. Loads of natural light. Good internet connection and a handy office area, ideal setup for working and leisure time. Great value for money vs a hotel. Dog friendly. We parked at the anger car park (10mins walk) over the duration of our stay (8 days) without any issues. It’s 3 Euros a day (coins only), and you can get a ticket for 3 days at a time.
