This hotel has old world charm with a contemporary twist! Friendly staff, beautiful location, well appointed rooms and great food. Honestly, I cannot recommend this more - I had the absolute best stay this weekend at The Fox! The staff was insanely kind and helpful, the room and facilities were on par with what I expected - if not better - and the cleanliness and comfort of the room made me feel so relaxed. I enjoyed this stay so much and would recommend it to solo travelers, couples, and families alike! The restaurant & bar is the cherry on top, where I was able to have a delicious British Sunday roast :)

    The staff were extremely efficient, friendly, and welcoming. Love the fact they are pet friendly and have a lovely field behind the hotel where you can take your dog for a walk. Although we didn't take advantage of the complimentary light breakfast, from what I saw, it was more than adequate.

    Ideal location very friendly staff day and night cosy and comfortable if a little tired but does not detract from the cosy homely relaxed feel of the place breakfast basic but enough to enjoy the start of your day will definitely use your services again when visiting friends and family local was also very pet friendly our little travel cat enjoyed the view from the window watching the wildlife

    Very cheap and cheerful. Rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast a little basic, but adequate (essentially toast and cereal). Pet friendly. Just pay a small fee for a dog. Plenty of parking. Bar with restaurant next door.

    The room was big enough for what we needed . 2 adults - a teenager , baby and a dog ! Location wasn’t too bad. Lots of space to walk the dog around the building. ( love it’s dog friendly ) Room was clean and tidy and a decent bathroom . With the most powerful shower I’ve had in a long time .
