It was the only available room in Bury St. Edmonds I could find and booked it without many expectations. I had an amazing time, the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, the room and bed were amazing, the shower incredible and the food at the brewery delicious. So the price I paid didn't match the expectations because I had none and the stay was amazing :)

Very welcoming host. Explained the history of Ravenwood as well. Very quiet location. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate on site wanting to support the business. Ample parking. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if in the area.

Excellent stay in one of the nook rooms overlooking the meadow. Very relaxing a peaceful and lots of little extras to make this a luxury stay. The room was very comfortable with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub - not loads of storage space but we were only staying overnight sadly. We also had a meal in the main restaurant which was excellent, as was breakfast (served fresh, not buffet). We wouldn't hesitate to book again when we're in the area.
