The Inn was old and rustic it was lovely , the staff friendly and cheerful. Rooms had character ,spacious .Breakfast was exceptional. I would highly recommend and will definitely be going back .

Beautiful place. Definitely going back as did not have tea there as had other plans in the evening. Had breakfast in the main bit and it was delicious. Really liked the staff, they were very accommodating and approachable

Nicola, wonderful host. Provided a hot n hearty breakfast, cooked to order. Cottage is a good size, charming n warm... underfloor heating :) V.comfy king-size bed, tea n pod coffee w milk provided. Plenty of fluffy white towels w bonus towel robes in the cupboard! Toiletries also provided. Parking provided on the property. Nicola recommended The Boat Restaurant, [near Hollies Farm B&B]. Dinner was OUTSTANDING!!! This place also provides for kids. Go! You won't regret it :]

Everyone says the staff are amazing and I can honestly confirm ... they are! Sally on Reception was really lovely and helpful, I didn't catch his name, but the man who showed us in and served our breakfast was such a gentleman and perfect for his job , so friendly! I must mention my Cosmopolitan Cocktail. The best ever 🍸. One more mention for George. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Again, perfect balance of friendly and professional. The Hall itself is stunning. The dinner was exceptional as was the breakfast. Gardens are beautiful, don't forget to say hello to the donkeys and llamas! Such a fab place for a birthday treat 😍

    Intended just one night whilst having specialist work done to a vehicle. Decided to stay an extra night as the area was very interesting and we wanted to look around before travelling back to Wiltshire. The room was nice. Food was excellent. We needed a dog friendly venue for our well behave Jack Russell. The venue is truly dog friendly (not just dog tolerant) with an actual menu of dog snacks.

    The hosts were welcoming and hospitable, our pod was spacious and beautifully decorated, everything we needed was provided. The resident dogs were so friendly and it was a pleasure seeing them walking around and coming over to say hello. The view from the pod was super, we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

    Lovely dog friendly Inn with clean, cosy rooms and a brilliant breakfast. They even have a doggy menu! Just a 2 minute stroll from the mere and a 10 minute stroll to the Llangollen canal. Lovely place to stay and very welcoming staff.
