    Really friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Super large spotless rooms with tea and coffee making facilities and excellent showers. This place is worth making a detour for - very impressive. Historic building on the A33 bus yes quiet and peaceful. Very dog friendly (they even provided a dog bed and 2 bowls ! Awesome food and drinks in the restaurant - and reasonably priced too. Highly recommended

    Lovely quiet ground floor room. Copious amounts of hot water. Large walk in shower. Responsive and friendly staff. Comfortable beds .Very minor issues dealt with quickly - missing bulb, shower mat. Brilliant evening meals in traditional setting - food excellent. Good. Particularly liked waking up to birds amongst trees despite being near a very busy road. Lovely grounds with outdoor eating areas and dog friendly. Overall a really lovely hotel which we would willingly use again.

    Very clean, quiet and dog-friendly. The staff were friendly and the food was good value. The Wellington is a really nice place to stay. Highly recommended.

    Clean rooms made our dog feel very important too. They had a dog bed for her and bowls. The restaurant was amazing. Get the fish and chips. You will not regret it. Extra bonus was they had 2 electric car chargers at the front, so you can charge your car overnight.

    It was a great place to stay and very comfortable and I would definitely go back - breakfast was great and the location was quiete and peaceful. The hotel is on a main road but the rooms are at the back. There is a lovely garden (very dog friendly) to stay in. A dog bed was provided for the dogs as was some bowls.
