I don't know how I should express how wonderful this hotel is. From the warm welcome over the breakfast to the lovely bedrooms there was all perfect. We never have been to a better hotel. The room was nice and cosy. You can make tea or coffee for a perfekt start in the day. The breakfast was delicous. You can order outside the menue. The scramble eggs were delicous. You can alos have fresh fruit, toast and bread, joghurt and many more. Im the evening or the day over you can sit in the garden or the patio and have a drink. In the afternoon you can enjoy a cream tea. If you are in the area stay in this hotel. This is an unforgettable experience.

The room was lovely,& had great facilities.There was breakfast pasties,bread & butter for toast,tea & coffee, cereal & fresh fruit,plus orange juice & sparkling water,which was all lovely. The kitchen also has a fridge/freezer,a dishwasher & a cooker,so all you'd need for a few days stay. The bathroom had a nice shower with shampoo supplied,& the bedroom was light & airy,with a a sofa & a couple of extra seats & a fold out little table,& the TV had fire stick,with lots of choices of streaming sites. Jerry,our host,was fantastic,so friendly & welcoming,& parked here car on the roadside,so we could park in the driveway. Holt town centre is only a few minutes walk away,so the Firefly is in a very convenient location. There's even garden furniture in the garden,but was a little chilly for us to sit outside! Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Amazing location with clear skies ideal for beautiful sunsets and stargazing evenings. Really good weather and walking paths to explore in the sun. The staff were really sweet, food was so fresh and delicious. The rooms were cosy with a personal touch to each room, we got an upgrade on extending our stay which was equally good! Good place to relax from the city or get some remote work done in a stressless location with tea.

We liked almost everything : beautiful hotel; lovely interior design; very clean; beds very comfortable!! We loved the swimming pool & sauna & the system of booking the pool! Excellent idea! Garden was gorgeous too! Everyone working at the hotel ( especially John) was very polite; making guests feel at ease !!!

    Excellent stay and wonderful breakfast in a lovely location. Sadly as it was purely bed and breakfast we never really got to enjoy the rest of the hotel. But we will be back.

    The best hotel we’ve stayed in on the Norfolk coast. Friendly staff, everything though of for our stay. Food lovely, very comfortable room and bed. Lovely location and very welcoming for dogs.

    Great location - we were able to visit a lot of the villages in the surrounding areas and return to the hotel as a base. Great food - we had breakfast, dinner and a Sunday roast. Staff were very attentive. Room - decent sized room. Useful to be by the back door with having our dog with us so we could take him out when needed. Dyson hair dryer in the room and loved the toiletries. Clean room. Staff - very welcoming and friendly towards humans and pets.

    Location was lovely. Food was good. Staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful. Bed was extremely comfortable, bedding was spotless. Shower was impressive. We didnt realise it was a dog friendly hotel, so we enjoyed meeting nice people with their dogs.

    Everything was exceptional, especially the staff. Superb breakfast, evening meals were very good. The hotel is set in it's own grounds with ample parking. All this and dog friendly as well.
