Hotel Black Sheep (Loch Lochy) Whispering Pine Lodge at Spean Bridge We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Black Sheep, located right on the serene shores of Loch Lochy. The uninterrupted view of the loch was absolutely breathtaking, making for a peaceful and picturesque retreat. The hotel’s heating system was excellent, keeping us warm and comfortable throughout our stay. The food was another highlight—delicious meals, great pizza, and the complimentary high tea was an unexpected but delightful surprise! The location was ideal, with easy access to Loch Ness and Fort William, making it a perfect base for exploring the Highlands. We stayed in a spacious apartment lodge, which was exceptionally well-appointed. The rooms were large, the shower was great, and the bed was one of the best we've ever had—firm and supportive, unlike the overly soft springy mattresses we usually find in hotels. The furnishings were luxurious, with high-thread-count linens adding to the comfort. Overall, Hotel Black Sheep exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and indulgent Highland getaway!

The chalet itself was lovely had everything needed for our weeks stay. The setting is fantastic with stunning views across the loch. It's in a perfect location for loads of things to do around the area we have been to the park before so knew the area. The hot tub was a fab extra that we didn't have last time and it was well used.

What a glamorous surprise! Right in the middle of the Highlands we found this haven. We didn’t really know what we had booked, so imagine our surprise when we opened the door to the cosiest, most perfectly styled pods, perfect for two people. This cottage in Roybridge was perfect for our family of 3! You get a whole cottage to yourself with a space for parking in front of the property. It is very spacious and feels brand new, with rustic modern decor throughout. The kitchen is a highlight, fully equipped with everything you could need for self-catering, including a dishwasher. The owners even left some basic seasonings and essentials, which was a thoughtful touch. Fresh breakfast was delivered in wicker baskets to our door on the agreed time in the morning by the host and contained an excellent selection of produce. The surrounding area is wooded and peaceful, we actually saw some deer on the premises one time. The location is good, there are some activities and places to visit close by, and it's only 20 minutes by car away from the more busy and touristy area of Fort William and Ben Nevis. The host was also very responsive and helpful, we highly recommend this place!

    We stayed in one of the cabins which is a very spacious two bedroom house. Magnificent views of the loch. Really loved the location. The loch ‘beach’. The accommodation was of very good quality and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable (a bit on the firm side). The serve was excellent and attentive. E Ate in the restaurant and food was very good if pricey. Shower was super easy to work. Could park outside accomodation. Reception provided us with fresh milk on request. There was even a welcome pack for our dog! Highly recommend.

    Well decorated, comfortable and very dog friendly. The hot tub was a lovely touch. It was all very comfortable and a very cosy place considering the temperature outside. Was very thankful for the driveway too. Found the whole booking process and communication brilliant. Also thanks for the Christmas card, tree and Xmas decoration and Buck’s Fizz- lovely touches.
