The location was convenient to the rail station about 10 minutes and they picked me up. Ben was so friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. The grounds and the garden are lovely and I was able to walk into town which was a bit of a long walk, but ideal for me. Very calming views of the sheep in the fields and pheasants along the way.

This cosy cottage with panoramic views over the Welsh and English countryside is idyllic . The facilities are more than adequate and the goodies in the fridge as a welcome gift were delicious. The proprietor is friendly and engaging and very willing to please. We loved every aspect of our stay.

Lovely host and log cabin with some beautiful ponies, exactly what we wanted for our stay. Booked very last minute as got let down by other stay nearby and was welcomed within 2h of booking. Lovely walks just around the property and lovely walks in the hills within a 20min drive, would love to come back.

The staff were super helpful; we had to cancel our dinner booking as our little one was not feeling well and they offered to do room service for us (so in the end we had a lovely dessert!). Breakfast was delicious and the lady behind the bar brought little portion of beans for our daughter and some colouring. The room was a great size, very close to the car park, with everything clean and ready for us.

Easy to find, yet remote. We had good weather, took our own disposable bbq which we had outside our pod. Pod was clean and comfortable and the pub 2 minutes away was very welcoming :)

    Beautiful and so interesting. Gorgeous rooms. Great value for money as prices are lower to reflect the fact that the property is being renovated. Comfortable. Friendly hosts. Dog friendly. Brilliant location, with the steam railway at the bottom of the drive as well as the wonderful Raven Inn for food. What’s not to love?

    Lovely and clean and excellent views and peace and quiet …. Bryn and wife where perfect hosts a bottle as arrived and a local basket of goodies were spot on even decorated for our anniversary surprise …. Dog friendly too ours loved it many thanks

    The location was excellent. The accommodation and the work on the hall is work in progress. It is a superb project and will be wonderful when it is completed. Our suite was very spacious and the shower was nice and warm. The cost was extremely competitive

    Location was excellent and nestled at the top of one of the local hills. A roughly mile walk to the bottom and a great pub for food and drinks. Made to feel really welcome throughout. Great that we could have our dogs with us. The room was very large and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Would recommend to anybody after a short break in Welshpool that want to explore Once the renovations are finalised this place will be an exceptional small gathering location
