Also the welcome we received by Roy was very friendly, and he made us feel very welcome as soon as we arrived at the hut. They exceeded our expectations providing our own shower and toilet, towels, all of the kitchen equipment we'd need, including ingredients for breakfast (cereal and a cooked breakfast), plus a bowl and biscuits for our dog! Nicky was a first class hostess and looked after us very well. We likeed the peace and quiet and the wonderful walks with our dog up to Dartmoor. The shepherd's hut is so lovely, very clean, as was the shower room that we had sole use of. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel straight at home. Lovely locally produced breakfast foods were provided that were very much appreciated, there was even a box of treats for our dog. It is the perfect location for exploring Dartmoor, Totnes, Dartmouth and the surrounding area. We will definitely be visiting again.Guest review byJamesYoung couple
