We loved staying at sada guesthouse! The hosts are very welcome and accommodating. We were also able to order dinner and breakfast for a very reasonable price. The room was very clean, cosy and warm even on a cold night. The location is perfect, so close to the caves and with marshrutka drop off and pick up right at the house. The surroundings are beautiful, very relaxing garden by the river, short walk to the sulfur pools and a bit longer walk to the upper vardzia nunnery. Great place to explore more of Vardzia than just the caves.

An atmospheric getaway with authentic Georgian food. The hosts were so kind and cooked us an amazing dinner (they offered breakfast as well but we had to leave). The location is stunning and close to the main area of Vardzia. The bed was also very comfortable, and the shower worked great! We loved hanging out outside with their dog and cows.

Very nice in a super location in the valley in front of the lake. Good breakfast and nice staff. Clean room. We also did a horse riding tour which was amazing! Perfect place for relaxing and visit Vardzia.

Amazing host, super hospitable. They gave us their homemade beers straight away, and they can provide delicious homemade food. Luckily, we were able to try out the beer spa last minute, which we would recommend doing!

We were looking for a place to relax for a few days between cities - and Gvala was the perfect place. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. Everything they served us for breakfast/lunch/dinner came from their own garden and was delicious! Despite a language barrier at times, the hosts were very fun company and great to enjoy our evenings with.
