That it is right in the middle of rice-fields. One may stay here just to relax and live /relive a relaxed village life. The homestay is gorgeous with Buddha statues and other statues, cobbled paths. Sit on the benches and see an old man guiding his flock of very disciplined ducks from the fields to back home; small boys flying kites; wake up to the sound of birds and go to sleep to the sound of either frogs/ lizards(could not make out what was it😄). Cycle the nearby villages with green fields on either side; locals cheerfully wishing you; you can cycle to Borobodur too / walk to the placs. cycles are provided by Rumah Dharma. They also arrange tickets for you for Borobodur. Do remember climbing the temple is not open on Mondays. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms even more spacious. The staff is very welcoming. You enjoy local food. They arranged a very good driver/car for airport pickup/dropoff; visit to Prambanan and Mount Merapi. What I also enjoyed is unlike hotels, all the guests were sitting in the open areas, playing board games, chatting with other guests. We absolutely loved our stay here. A warm shoutout to the staff who were excellent!

Staff were on hand and very friendly. Nice and secluded location away from the busy streets next to Borobudur Temple. Bicycles to use free of charge. Good air conditioning in the rooms. Clean and modern feel.

Staffs and local people in this area are very honest and generous. Be sure to try Saka café's mei goreng. You get free fruits when you walk around the village and Rik Rok souvenirs(100 feet away) even offered to lend me their bike for free. Ema at the reception is also very sweet.

We had such a great time at the villa Felice. The facilities they have provided were exceptional! I highly recommended to stay at their villa especially when you have a toddler with you. They even have a kids room which they love.

Very nice place to stay to avoid the heat of Yogyakarta and get closer to Borobudur, nice village, lovely place full of vegetation, staff doesn’t speak good English but we had a very good time with them and google translate 😄 they were were on hand to welcome us with kindness delicacy and discretion. I stayed with my family at Omah Kepel in September 2023, and we all enjoyed our stay here. The atmosphere reminds us of our grandparents' house with wooden architecture, green grass, plenty of plants, and a peaceful environment. The beds were very comfortable, excellent airflow, clean, fresh laundry scent, beautiful nature, a wood-burning stove that we could use to cook "from farm to table" meals, free & nice nasi kuning breakfast, and as a bonus: we could harvest all the fruits and vegetables from Mr. Arya's garden for free, the nicest owner we've met. And we could also harvest from the surrounding residents' gardens at a very affordable price. We harvested chili peppers, tomatoes, long beans, green beans, eggplants, papayas, and salak pondoh! We will definitely come back!
