River View Homestay is a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying in this River Front house. It is a traditional old Kerala style tiled house overlooking the beautiful river. The location is unbeatable with a beautiful view of Chithari river, surrounded with mangrove forests and coconut trees in a peaceful village. This place is very well maintained and breeze all time to house. Kitchen is available with cooking gas, stove with all utensils. We cooked food for 2 days and it was good experience. Owner gave the full itinerary to visit nearby places and we watched theyyam, Visited Bekal Fort, Red moon beach and Fishing in the river was the best experiences we had. This is very budget level homestay in entire Kasaragod. We stayed 2 nights and had almost relaxing trip. The warmth and hospitality was really something we are looking forward to visiting again. All our expectations about our stay here were met and exceeded! The cottage we stayed in was very cozy with a small verandah and a gate at the porch, high ceilings inside with a wide king size bed, a jacuzzi in the bathroom and a private backyard overlooking the garden and the backwaters. It was quiet, serene, and blissful, to say the least. The staff were at the top of their game - warm, welcoming and well trained. We had a minor issue with the door to the patio and the jacuzzi which was promptly addressed even at a late hour - very impressive! The property is splendid and spectacular. Kudos to the management and the entire staff to get this up and running and for maintaining it impeccably. Coming back with my family for sure!

Sunitha was excellent.. Very helpful. Home cooked food was tasty. Feel breakfasts could be more varied tho. Fabulous decor. Walk to beach was about 15-20 mins at a slow pace.. Beautiful & clean.

His genuine care for his guests was evident in every interaction. The moment I stepped inside, I felt an immediate sense of being at home. The homestay exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere that made it easy to settle in and relax. The healthy breakfast served here was not only nourishing but also the most delicious I've had in my travels so far. Each meal was a delightful experience that added to the overall sense of comfort and hospitality. The location of Jasmine Heritage Homestay was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled in the heart of a lush green forest next to a serene river stream, the setting was like something out of a fairy tale. It offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, allowing me to truly connect with nature. The homestay's 165-year-old traditional Kerala housing was a true gem. The history and character of the place were evident in every corner, and the huge rooms with traditional Dravidian doors and ventilation provided a unique glimpse into the past. It felt like stepping back in time while still enjoying the comfort of modern amenities. One of the most memorable aspects of my stay was Ravichandra's thoughtful gesture of picking us up. 1. LOCATION: The property is close by to Bekal Fort - 2.5 kms by road Beach - 300 meters by walk from resort Fun Fair - 500 meters from resort or 2 kms by road 2. AIR CONDITIONING: You have option for AC and Non-AC rooms. 3. ROOMS: When they say a 'room', it means you have Hall, 2 bed rooms with twin beds and bathroom. Technically, 4 people can stay in each floor. If you want the full independent house 8 people can comfortably stay and sleep. May be they can provide extra beds on the floor for extra person. 4. PARKING: Parking is available upon entry and some of the houses have parking next to it.
