This was our second visit after 15 years. The current management has maintained the property exceptionally well and made few ornamental improvements. The quality of service was very good. Food is simple but very delicious. The dining area, like before, is an authentic display of Sikkimese culture and ethnic history.

This is a star category hotel in budget pricing. The room was awesome. Rooms are luxury and big in size. Have all modern amenities even the washroom is having hair dryer. Hotel is having fast wifi and a live karaoke bar. Food was amazing. They gave us welcome drink on arrival.

Everything was excellent. It's a new luxurious hotel. The staff were friendly and kind, the room was luxurious with a wonderful smart TV. The food was great value. It was nice to have breakfast on my balcony.

It was wonderful. The beautiful, quiet location really suited us and the stylish contemporary decoration - made it really comfortable. All the facilities were great. Due to the Northern areas of Sikkim being closed we ended up spending 9 nights here in total and enjoyed the pool, the wonderful treatments from Pubyang in the Spa, the dining end evening entertainment in between our excursions. So many fantastic staff, starting with Kishan the duty manager who I spoke to from the UK. He reassured me that their tour guide could handle the pick up from Bagdogra and arrange a driver for all our planned locations. Their in-house tour manager, Sangay Sherpa was amazing, super efficient and took care of all of our transportation needs. He hired the fabulous Praveen Subba who drove us the entire trip, sharing his extensive knowledge and ensuring that as two women travellers we felt completely safe at all times. He’s a star! So many other wonderful staff especially Mingma who prepared the traditional Sikkimese breakfast for us most mornings and Veronica one of the reception managers. The whole team strove to make sure our experience was the best it could be. We very much hope to return.

I am from Bhutan and the best part is the owner,Bidhya's husband is from Bhutan too . I discovered a place where I feel at home. I went to kalimpong to get some dry meat and sausages and they recommended me the best place to get it.I was driving a Hilux so I parked my vehicle at Tenam and took a driver by the name of Sujay with me.It save me the trouble to drive in the Kalimpong traffic. Friends especially from Bhutan, tenam is the place for us. Additional perk for flower lovers----they have a beautiful nursery

We had a delightful stay at Mission Valley Homestay. The location was peaceful. The building beautifully overlooked the town. All the rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. The staff were helpful, friendly and intelligent.
