First: The host was very attentive, friendly and helpful. There wasn't anything that he could not answer or do for me! Also, offered to carry my luggage up and downstairs without hesitation! Second: quiet location, short walk into centre and train station nice spacious bedroom and ensuite. Vista of Capri was stunning from bedroom. Allowed to store my luggage after check out, thank you!

Il Giardino Dei Glicini is an exceptionally clean bed and breakfast with a very comfortable bed in a large room and an excellent breakfast. Our host was extremely nice and accommodating and we really enjoyed our stay here. We were able to park our car inside a fence and walk downtown for dinner. Our room was on the ground floor which was very convenient for our two little dogs and my husband's mobility issues. This B & B is easy to find and very convenient when visiting the Archeological Site at Herculaneum and Mt. Vesuvius. We would highly recommend Il Giardino Dei Glicini for your next visit to Ercolano.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Patrizia. The location is amazing, we could see the sea from our room and were very close to the Vesuv. The room was very nice- it was cleaned every day and calm. The location of Villa Patrizia was perfect for us: There is a direct tram connecting the hotel to Napoli, but at night we could come back to the hotel and enjoy a calm, peaceful night. The breakfast gave us a good start to the day. But best of all was the host, Robbie. He gave amazing advices, he always took care of us and made sure everything is ok. Thanks to him we learned a lot about the region. We'd always come back.

Firstly it is very easy to locate and so close to the local train station (ercolano-scavi) only 5 mins walk, very easy for entry as there is a lockbox and Pasquale provided you with the code before you arrive. There are two doors, one main entry and a second after walking through the kitchenette, both lockable and very safe and secure. The apartment is beautiful and has been designed and furnished to a very nice standard and all amenities you require are provided. This property is located in ercolano which gives you such a genuine sense of Italian culture and community, the neighbours are all so very friendly and welcoming and despite us not speaking Italian very well we were always welcomed and it’s such a lovely area to stay, we always felt safe and comforted. But overall Pasquale made our stay so very special, he was always one message away to answer any queries but also checked in on us if we required anything. Furthermore he made a very heartfelt gesture of gifting me a birthday present of some yummy Prosecco and a traditional Napoli talisman (the twisted horn), we are travelling and have not seen family for some time so this was such a sweet gesture and really made me feel so appreciative. We have never visited Naples before and this really was a perfect spot for us, staying Italy in august is very hot and so even on days where we didn’t feel like going out too far we could enjoy staying here for the day, the kitchen provides everything for cooking to save some money and there is a lovely air-con in the room too, WiFi that works perfectly and the bed is so comfortable, a full length mirror for the girlies fit checks, delicious free espresso machine, so so many good things to say about this place. Oh and it’s right next to the vintage fashion district so great for shopping for vintage Italian clothes! We will absolutely book this place again if we ever return to Naples. Thankyou for such a lovely trip.

This house is spacious and very good value for money it’s located in a quiet (secured) area and during the night private security drives 5 times along the house. The house has everything you need, with 2 (new) bed rooms and a nice shower. Private parking on own property. Everything was exceptional clean, and our host Nunzia also owns another location nearby B&B Bellatrix in Portici with very good reviews. She was very lovely and her mom was also with her and both provided great information about the area. We directly experienced Napolitano hospitality and felt directly at home. Also opposite the house live other family members and from time to time an older lady asked if everything was “tutto bene” and if we needed anything more. The hospitality we experienced was in the small details. Like for example: one day we were tired, and because the location of the house was a bit hard to explain in English to (many) pizzerias nearby (+many here don’t speak English well), Nunzia offered to order pizza for us. We just only needed to whatsapp what we wanted and it was delivered within 20 minutes. Although she didn’t speak English, with the microfoon function in Google translate we had a short talk the moments we saw each other. However most of the conversations happened via WhatsApp and anytime we had a question or needed assistance she texted back within 15 minutes. Because the house is a bit uphill you have a great sea view especially on bright sunny days. After we left the house to our next destination in Amalfi we ran into a challenge. Unfortunately at the very last moment the host in Amalfi had to cancel our booking because the previous guest had damaged his house. We were just 20 minutes nearby the house and it was already evening. And because it was late, I contacted Nunzia what to do, and she offered us to come back since the house was still available and she would wait for us. We did drive back for 1.

    The hotel is quite nice much bigger than we thought. We were 1st offered a room with no window in the roof space! We requested to move. We were given a nicer room in the garden with small terrace. Breakfast was quite extensive, self service, sitting on terrace. Pool area was nice with bar. Beds and shade. Location is a bit scruffy. Street is difficult to walk along as traffic, high pavement, rubbish and dog mess! Some good places to eat about 15 min walk away.

    Great location, fantastic room with a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Napoli and Capri, really pleasant and clean rooms, huge swimming pool, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We travelled with a 5 year old and lots of luggage and a pet, this was one of the nicest places we stayed in Europe.

    Big pool area and loads of pebble beach space. Breakfast options were excellent and the staff made the coffee on fresh on order. The reception ladies were wonderful and spoke good English. They are dog friendly which was very important for me.
