The Owners are wonderful. Helpful and honest people. Place is renovated, sheets and beddings were clean and fresh. Place is quiet, surrounded by mountains and a river is a few hundred meters away. Great runaway from the city, very good price, great people, good energy 💯 Enjoyed ☀️

Francesca, the host, is a wonderful person! She really took care of everything so that our stay to be as comfortable as possible! You can ask her to cook dinner if you like which can be served in the dining room in the apartment. The view and location is wonderful! Will definitely go back there!

The location is just perfect for long walks, quiet nights and enjoying all the joys that nature provides! The living room was also big enough for us to have a lovely group dinner together and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery. Even the sofa bed was extra comfy! The host is warm, welcoming and flexible! I cannot ask for a better experience checking in and checking out! I am only sorry we couldn't stay longer!

When arriving, we were met with tons of locals and tourists having their aperitivos at the restaurant with their dogs in tow. I was so happy, having my own dog way back at home in Sweden, to find so many nice dogs to say hi to. The staff were nice and accomodating, the food was rustic and good - and they changed the menu every day. Perfect place for us.

It's an extremely cozy apartment. Perfect for a couple. In the middle of the mountain with an amazing fire place. There is a proper kitchen, you can cook your own food. The owners are amazing and ready to help. They give you advice about the mountain.

I was warmly welcomed and everything was shown to me. During the stay I had contact with the host and she provided me with some tips for hiking trails and places. The place was clean and specious, enough for 2-3 people, maybe 4. Close to Locana with shops and post office. Not far from Colle del Nivolet and on the boundaries of Gran Paradiso NP.

    If you enjoy nature and hiking, then La Ghita is an excellent location to visit the Gran Paradiso National Park. Out of the many places we visited throughout Italy, this area is one of the most beautiful and enchanting, as the majestic Alps surround you. The father and son who hosted us were very kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. Should we ever return to this area, we will definitely stay at La Ghita.

    Simonetta is a lovely host. She is very helpful re: hikes, restaurants and local activities. The place is small and very personal. It is centrally located to many mountain hikes. A nice breakfast is provided at your convenience.

    Everything about the place! Simonetta couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful; the room was large, also the extremely comfortable bed (so I overslept!) and the ensuite shower-room/toilet. Breakfast was excellent and abundant and there were a cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer available for use if required. My car was safe overnight behind locked gates. Two friendly dogs and two equally friendly donkeys added to the pleasure of the stay (missed seeing the goat!)
