What was there not to like? We stayed for one night on our way south. There was parking available on the premises. The room was lovely, spacious, nicely finished and had a fan provided, so no need for aircon. The bathroom was also roomy and with a good shower. Breakfast was typical Italian and probably not the best we have had, some small cakes on the table and the pulpy juice in bottles. The coffee machine was great supplying as much coffee as we wanted. The evening meal was splendid with some really delicious food. The bread, I could have sat eating that and nothing else. No idea what it was, but homemade and really, really good! We sat outside in the courtyard for apertivi beforehand. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. They both made a point of chatting with guests to the point where you felt very at ease and as if you were a family guest. The man was the chef, but made a point of bringing out some of the dishes himself and serving the tables. We had wine from their own cantina and ended up purchasing some bottles to take way with us. We really liked this place

It's a great little family run hotel, a bit old fashioned but stylish of course as it's a country house and that's what I'd expect. But you will immediately feel the warmth from the hosts, Alberto and Marina. A smile, a welcome drink and snacks, answers to all questions if you ask, many suggestions where, what, how, etc. Alberto immediately calls the place of your interest to arrange what you want. I was unsure about visiting the Baladin Brewery, but my concerns were resolved within a minute. I haven't mentioned Digestivo yet :) , it always awaits you after a gourmet day. After all this, I almost forgot about the rooms and amenities, and this happened with me for the first time. Breakfast? Yeah! If you are not a conceited traveler used to eating in Michelin restaurants it is for you. Not necessary to ask something Alberto, he already knows what you want :) Simple and splendid :) That`s my experience

Excellent stay in the Langhe Hills! Loved that it was so local with the family owning the place, from the host and his mother making the food and the father as the wine expert. Vers small city though but in perfect sorroundings with great food and a magnificant car trip (arriving from north)

    The stunning views, amazing sunset and the host Arianna and her family were very friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and evening meals, Arianna was very knowledgeable about the local wines on offer and helped me choose the most delicious one to have with my dinner. The room we had was huge with lots of space for our family of four and our dog. The door connecting the rooms was small for a tall family but we thought that was part of the charm of the property!
