United StatesMariko is an amazing host, very friendly, showed us around their farm and introduced us to their farming way of life. We chose to have dinner and breakfast and the food is very meticulous, healthy, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients. We also participated in harvesting shiitake mushrooms which was fun. We definitely recommend this place and would come again. Another very unexpected part of our stay is the tremendously beautiful scenic spots in Bungo-ono. Mariko introduced us to Todoro Bridge, Taizako Canyon, Harajiri Falls, and Fukoji Temple Buddha. There were no crowds and we were almost the only visitors. It was a phenomenal trip.
