Stayed here for one night to go to the snow monkey park the day after. Friendly and welcoming people, homey feel. Clean sleeping area and bathroom/toilet, spacious bedroom. Very close to the station.

The breakfast was buffet style, and it was really good. They have a free shuttle service for the snow monkey park. I went to the park the last day of my stay, and they came to pick me up at the park at 11:00, which is after the check-out time which is 10:00, and they even drove me to the train station afterwards. I could leave my baggage in the lobby while staying at the park. The onsen at the hotel is really nice with both an indoor and an outdoor bath. The onsen was open for use from 13:00 to 09:00 the next day as I can remember. The staff was really nice and helpful.

Hospitality at the top, the even offered us a free delicious and generous breakfast and drove us to the snow monkeys park. Beds are confortable and there is an onsen inside. The view on the valley from breakfast restaurant is wonderful. We definitely recommand.

Beautiful local property for those seeking an authentic Japanese Ryokan experience. Lovely family running the place, taught us about Japanese Archery, Origami and gave a true local experience.
