Exceptional villa design, extraordinary hospitality of Irosh and his family. We had an amazing time here, highly recommended. AC in every room, very clean rooms and bathrooms, spacious bedrooms, dining and living rooms. YOU MUST STAY HERE...The family that own this homestay couldn't have been more welcoming from the start to the end of our stay. Upon arrival we were handed a cold refreshing drink while the rottweiler introduced himself. Ive been travelling 6 weeks in Asia now and quite frankly this gentle giant made me feel at home very quickly. The daughter helping with my travelling plug issue and connecting me to WiFi, she was simply keen to please in any way. The family's English was amazing and probably the best ive experienced in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious with a huge bowl of fruit followed by eggs,tomatoes and some thick tiger bread with butter and jam. Jug of coffee much welcomed. If I needed something I felt like it was never too much trouble. Location is so close to the beach but feels like the jungle from my room balcony. Within 5min walking distance you have a pub with roof top ideal for watching sunsets called Beauty Coral Bar. A restaurant within the homestay so you dont even need to leave to get food. Another restaurant 5mins up the road called Simple Restaurant if you fancy a change. Clean spacious rooms with good air con,ceiling fan and I love the shower and toilet also very clean and spacious. The whole place from the restaurant to my room,the family and Location I LOVED IT SO much I had to stay another night. So from England Kent to Sunnys Homestay I send you my thanks and my love for everything you did for me.

I have visited different places in Sri Lanka, but this is the most comfortable of all the villas where we have been. I think its price should be higher because the service, atmosphere and decor are top notch! I would really like to come back here again, because you can live in this place. very nice and kind family, where you feel at home or visiting friends! The place is spacious and has everything you need: fresh bedsheets, AC, fresh towels, kitchen, fridge, plates, glasses etc. It was clean and comfy. 100% value for the price. The location is good, it is not next to the beach but a very short walking distance. probably 5 minutes. The host was very friendly, attentive and ready to help.

We liked the location, its next to the river. And with tuktuk or car You can go the beach, Ambalangoda or any pleace pretty easy. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. The Ganganada team took really good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, especially seafood lovers will appreciate it. We will definitely be coming back.

Big pool, Good, u can also self catering as there’s a great kitchen Is not an hotel, as its an house built during colonization is immersed into nature. It takes to set properly as families tend to come 5/6 Days so there’s not a daily change of guests, u can arrive that house has been closed for days. Immediately interested nature means all animals u can figure out. So u need a certain adaptation. 3 rooms. 3 bathrooms also with a shower practically if raining the shower bath is basically opened to roof, interior are interesting.

I stayed four nights in early July. I could enjoy the beautiful ocean view from my room every day. All the staff are very nice and helpful. Location wise, it is a little off from populated area but not too far away. Bus lines are available to cities along the coast. And, this is the great point, which made me enjoy the ocean view exclusively.
