Apartment is very close to the beach. Just 2-3 minitues walk to the beach. Room is spacious. Moragalla beach is not over crowded too. You have everything you need to a relaxed beach stay.The staff were polite and humble. Even food was excellent. Thanks .will visit soon again.

Fantastic beach front location, quiet and private, view of sunset from terrace. Substantial breakfast with great coffee; and Hilda and her husband will help you with every wish. It’s easy to use PickMe or Uber apps to get cars to pick you up for trips into town (Beruwala, Aluthgama for crafts shopping, 1.25 hours from Colombo) just put Pahalage Guesthouse for pick up location which is right next door. You can also for Ayurveda treatments nearby at Bentota Ayurveda Centre +94 (77) 309 0538 or Prince Lanka Ayurveda +94 77 547 6466 and you can book both via WhatsApp.

The Place is stylish and calm, romantic yet simple. Coffee and coctails are very good. Prices are reasonable and massage is perfect. Managers are flexible and taking care about the guests very well. I'm an expat living in Sri Lanka for 2 years. Been to a dozen of hotels around the island and so far this one of my favorite places. It's a nice small hotel/guesthouse for like 10 rooms. The garden and scenery inside is absolutely marvellous! They have a pool and unlike most of the enormous hotel pools with water temperature +30C in SL, it's small and really refreshing! The staff is really pleasant and helpfull (special cheers to Achala :). There was a construction works going in the neighborhood, and they moved me to the better room in another block far away from the noise for free. All the minor problems with the equipment have been dealt immediately. Very pleasant people and atmosphere where I felt like home. The location is also very nice - it's 1.5 hour ride from Colombo and you can just go there for a weekend. I came for 3 days, stayed for 2 weeks. WiFi is pretty good. It's also 3 minute walk from northern Moragalla beach which has a distant underwater reef that protects from waves and high tide even at the worst weather and during off season. Breakfast is good as well as dinner a-la-carte. This is not a luxury place but really cozy and totally worth the price. Will come back there again for sure

    A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

    One of the most beautiful places we stayed in Sri Lanka! The atmosphere is just amazing. Everything is perfect from the natural tasteful decorations, the staff that makes you feel at home, the wonderful location right at the beach. Price is very good for what you get. Super clean room.

    The perfect place to relax and unwind. Peaceful Accommodation with character and attention to detail. Super friendly staff and incredibly good food. Ray and Nina are very attentive, take time for their guests and have lots of tips. Due to the small number of guests, everything is very personal and great conversations and contacts are made. The house dog Cookie and the little cat Mango make it even more homely.Not an easy departure - we would come back in a heartbeat!
