The Homestay is so beautiful, the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. It is set amongst stunning scenery and the decoration inside is perfect. Sandy was also a brilliant and kind host. First off if you think that for 8$ you're going to be staying at the Ritz then maybe you will be disappointed. However if you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience then you'll be fine. The welcome that you get from Fareed is only exceeded by the quality (and quantity) of his wife Roransa's home cooked food. Really it's Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best.
