Beautiful estate bit away from the main road with cows, dogs, chicken and peacocks. Nice outside pool just next to the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. The chef took very good care of us and even helped us to prepare our Christmas dinner. After staying for one night we extended our stay because we fell in love with the people and the place.

Suddenly we booked the hotel .we are not expected like such a welcoming by hosts.it’s such a like small jungle beside the road.such a valuable herbs ,spices and so many fruits in the garden they well maintained. Special thing is we sow so many birds and squirrels were playing around the garden.our room out side was full of flowers and trees Rooms are neat and clean,bed was comfortable with all facilities . Special thing is foods that they made from garden vegetable and home made spices,the best Sri Lankan rice and curry that I ever had.they felt like home to us. Loved see again that beautiful smiles and kindness.

A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. I had an amazing stay! The place has such a peaceful vibe, surrounded by nature. The villa was clean and comfortable, and my favourite feature was the inner courtyard, which made me feel so connected to nature. The tree hut was the perfect nook for reading, and the staff even arranged one of our dinners there. We were also able to experience a well bath - such a one of a kind experience! The staff were incredibly attentive, always making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and full of local flavours. Loved the soothing sound of birds in the morning. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Dambulla who’s looking for a relaxing and authentic Sri Lankan experience.

This is a family owned and operated business away from the noise of the town, in a tranquil setting. Sanjeev and Lalith were very welcoming, and included us in their family and friends celebration of Sinhalese new year, which was exceptional. Room 3 was very large, and the bathroom spacious and just right. A perfect setting for respite close to nature. The meals were the best we've had in 12 days so far in Sri Lanka!
