Had all the facilities that we wanted. Outside balcony with table and seating with fan. Use of the kitchen. Free laundry. The nice chap that runs the place gave us a lift to the turtle sanctuary in his Tuk Tuk and also helped us get a reasonable price for kayak hire. All in all, a good place to stay.

What a wonderful stay I had at Villa Sandamedura! From start to finish I felt taken care of! The hosts are lovely people, they prepared delicious breakfast every morning, organized a boat trip in Koggala lake for me (which is something I totally recommend doing!), Sam was always ready to answer all my questions, and it felt like a real homestay with the right balance of hospitality and privacy that I needed. The room is big and quiet, the location is very nice - 2 minutes walking to the beach, and a bus stop right outside as well. Would definitely recommend it!

We didn’t want to leave🥲. We had a wonderful time. It’s on the water, great if you are a nature lover. it’s very quiet and relaxing. Food was really good, 15 min to an amazing beach ( very clean and not touristy) The family and staff are absolutely fantastic. I wish them all the best🥰

Exceptional service! What makes this hotel best in Ahangama is it's Staff first of all. The staff is extremely cooperative, courteous and understanding. They are very helpful people. The rooms itself are huge with 2 beds where minimum 4 people can sleep. The hotel is right infront of the beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the hotel itself. Even more better part is it's rooftop area where breakfast is served every morning, the views are to die for. The best sunrise and sunset is what you get to experience from their rooftop. I would love to be back here again. The breakfast served was also amazing with a wide variety. Loved every bit of the stay here.

The tree houses are just amazing. So authentic and comfortable at the same time. The family host is simply the best, they welcome their guests in the best possible way with so much kindness and authenticity. Such a lovely experience. (And the value for money is crazy good!).

Beautiful place! You feel like beeing in the middle of the jungle. You can see and hear lots of animals like monkeys, peacocks, squirre and many others. The room is very big. We had our own balcony with a beautiful view, our own kitchen and there was even a washing machine in our room. The host is a very kind man. He showed us all the plants in his garden like starfruit, pineapple, avocado, banana and so on. The breakfast was also very good.
