Nice light new clean accommodation with spacious terrace and private entrance situated in a tranquil neighborhood off the main road. Good bathroom with hot shower. Large bed with an excellent mosquito net. Run by a friendly family doing their absolute best to make you having a great time. The hostess prepares excellent meals on request. If we have had time we surely would have stayed longer.

Unbelievable place. It is located in a big house with a nice pool area in a quiet area. We have been welcomed very nicely by our host, with a small tour of the villa and the facilities of the hotel. There is a fridge and a place where you can cook in case you don’t want to go outside. Breakfast is incredible, you can choose between continental or Sri Lankan breakfast and it is anyway very good. Guests are caring and lovely, thank you for the stay, I wish we could have stayed longer but we needed to continue our trip to Sri Lanka. Thank you for the stay.

How can I even start… all the members of this family are literal angels. They’ll take care of you, show you around, make sure you’re never hungry, and give you the best possible experience. I was so lucky to meet them at the beginning of my trip; I ended up staying way longer than planned and even spent my birthday with them and we organised a trip together some time later. At this point, they’ve become family to me. Their property is located in a beautiful and tranquil area; if you like being close to nature and want an authentic Sri Lankan experience, this is the place. The rooms are well-kept and tidy, spacious, and cosy. There’s an adorable dog and lots of visiting animals, even parrots, who feed near the property’s gate every morning. Shamaylie, with the help of her daughters, cooks home made, healthy and very tasty meals, made from the local ingredients. The family will make sure that they offer you the food you like. I recommend to visit the Guesthouse regardless if you’re travelling solo or in a couple. You will always be treated with love, warmth, and generosity. Wik xx

I had an amazing time at Lila Lodge. From the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed by the friendly staff. The room was perfect,,spacious, clean, and the friendly staff made my stay extra special. Wonderful litlle family 🥰 Doing whatever to make you have a nice time, Cheap and good healthy cooking meals. Sens of respect and clean. Always happy. Thush is making motobike tours all over Sri Lanka, bring you one place, make you visit or drop you Somewhere for a few days and come back later if you want. Hé is very well educated, caring, putting Brotherhood before money, a pleasure to meet on thé way. I spent 10 wonderful days in his small but clean and insect free cabin. Thanks to you all and a spécial feeling to Sheli, Thush litlle 4 years old daughter, thé brightest child i have ever met, explaining you Life in thé best english 🥰 with Love and respect...so funny and pretty 💕 Thanks a lot .

    We booked this accommodation only 15 min in advance due to tuktuk difficulties, but they did their very best to have everything ready for the night and breakfast. They were very kind. Good location next to a local restaurant and a turtle reservation with super kind local men that showed us a beautiful peace of beach. The rooms itself are basic but have a lot of animals.

    A beautiful, clean and quiet location. The hosts are welcoming and helpful. We dined at their place and the traditional dishes were very good. 200m away is a Cargills supermarket. Bus and train station very close. Close to the turtle sanctuary - Galbokka Sea Turtle.
