Best staff I have experienced. The guys were so friendly. They are amazing. The food and the spice route made this a 9+ experience. They deserve everything that is coming to them. Well done! Super chill host, makes you feel right at home. The cottage is totally separate from the main house, so you've got tons of privacy – way better than most homestays. The garden is gorgeous and perfect for chilling out. I loved waking up to all the birds singing, and the host's adorable greyhounds were always there to greet me.

This place was the perfect spot to stay after a long flight to sri lanka! We also came back for a night before get the flight to came back to europe. The host was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. There are a pharmacy and a restaurant close.

Kids running on the street with kites, rice paddies and lush trees all around. Random cows walked down the street. Sitting on the balcony watching a snapshot of everyday life was great. The property is not central and noisy - it is all calm and quiet and the perfect introduction to Sri Lanka after 24 hours of travelling. We stayed two nights in the basic room. Simple but had everything we needed. The property is close to the airport and the owner waited up for us til past midnight to check in. He is a lovely man and very welcoming and helpful. Next morning they made us a nice breakfast, Coconut Chapatis, fruit and an omelette for a couple of dollars. The owner then helped us organise an excellent tuk tuk driver to show us Negombo at a great price - he actually ended up taking us the next day to the train station in Colombo Fort as well because he was such a great guy. The owners wife then made us a really nice Chicken Fried Rice for dinner as well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. We probably will when we fly out to make it an easy trip to the airport.

We booked this place on the day we stayed and what a gem of a find! The facilities were very comfortable. Very clean room and bathroom with a semi outdoor shower. My kids loved the shower heads! The breakfast cooked was beautiful. We had the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast of string hoppers and curries and it was devine. Then my children had fruit & French toast. The son or manager then showed us around their wonderful garden. My children absolutely adored it and were so excited to see monkeys on our way out.
