I loved everything about Halketha. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality from Chitra, Mary and Nelumi. We were taken to our villa across a beautiful landscaped garden that also stays true to its love for the natural environment. The villa itself was perfection - perfectly decorated, clean, homely but also provided you with a sense that you were in luxury. The outdoor bathroom was a cherry on top, with a beautiful araliya tree in the middle. During our stay, we were not only treated close to family, but the quality of service was nothing like I had seen in Sri Lanka for a long time. The food was authentically Sri Lankan, with a rich yet classic taste. The property is close to mini waterfalls and great walks. This is a stay I will keep coming back to. A reminder that authentic and wholesome experiences still exist in Sri Lanka.

We loved our stay at Sriyan Villa. Shameera is an extremely helpful and friendly host, from preparing us breakfast to giving plenty of tips of places to see in Sri Lanka. The villa itself is a hidden gem by the river and only 10 minutes away from the beautiful Morigalla beach. Villa is tastefully designed with antique-inspired style and has a green and peaceful garden. We will certainly come back :)

Great room with a nice balcony with river view, good airco, nice shower, good bed. Friendly owner who offers a free transport to the other side of the lake, where you have access to the beautiful Ventura beach. This beach is easily one of the best beaches we have seen in Sri Lanka: unspoiled, tranquil, very nice zand, cute waves... just incredible! Make sure you get there to enjoy this still widely unknown hidden gem.

Outside area with table/chairs and pool just outside the door. Genuinely friendly, help- and respectful family that owns the guesthouse. Made us feel at home immediately. They helped us with scooter rental, tuk tuk transport and all other questions that popped up during our stay. Star of the family is - of course - the dog Tio. Unbeatable price/value.

We had a stay of one night after our stay at the other villa of Shameera. Also this Villa is a great place to be, really fantastic. Once again, the host Shameera is a wonderful guy. He is so kind and polite, he helped with everything. eg giving some really good hints, what to do and what kind of activities are good to join. It was our pleasure to stay in this Villa also and also to meet such a great person like Shameera. Thank you for everything, you have done for us. The breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you, Anthea and Dagi, for your exceptional hospitality. As per our request, they prepared a variety of egg dishes and a fantastic English breakfast. We must specifically mention the fresh watermelon juice—it was incredibly tasty! The location is around 1.5 to 2 km away from the beach, but this was no issue as Dagi kindly arranged a free shuttle service for easy beach access. They even dropped us back at the villa after we finished our outing. Their thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our stay truly enjoyable. Highly recommended! Boat ride tour is amazing. comparing with others here rates are very reasonable and friendly. please book for 2 night. cannot cover the activities with in a day.

Apartment is very close to the beach. Just 2-3 minitues walk to the beach. Room is spacious. Moragalla beach is not over crowded too. You have everything you need to a relaxed beach stay.The staff were polite and humble. Even food was excellent. Thanks .will visit soon again.
