I cycled up to the Silver Hill Ecovillage and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Prosanna is a hospitable and engaging host. He kindly lent me his binoculars for some amazing birdwatching. The immediate views from the rooms and terrace are spectacular. His staff are very kindly attentive and prepared some wonderfully healthy home cooked food using locally grown produce. I was impressed with the outstanding scenery and unique location of the Silver Hill Ecovillage. I am so pleased and privileged to have had the chance to stay at this tranquil and mellow

A wonderful and comfortable hotel in a stunningly beautiful place on the lake. A spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the sunrise. Delicious food and a pleasant stay. This place was an absolute experience! The views were seriously breathtaking and most of all if you are looking to relax, connect with nature and have the best time disconnecting this is the ideal place. A magical place run by great people. We booked one night here, but we really enjoyed it and stayed here another night. A place surrounded by nature, about 20 minutes from Dambulla. The guys are really helpful, even for a super dinner in the forest or to get to the top of the mountain opposite! A great family <3

This is a family owned and operated business away from the noise of the town, in a tranquil setting. Sanjeev and Lalith were very welcoming, and included us in their family and friends celebration of Sinhalese new year, which was exceptional. Room 3 was very large, and the bathroom spacious and just right. A perfect setting for respite close to nature. The meals were the best we've had in 12 days so far in Sri Lanka!
