Our hosts were the absolute best. They invited us to their family new year celebrations and we were honored to join them. The food they prepared for us on both nights was delicious and adapted to our taste. They helped us with hiking trips and organized each activity we wanted to plan. The mud chalet was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and we felt very much at ease.

Very lovely family, Ravi, his wife and mother are so nice and try their absolute best to give you a perfect stay. Arrange Tuktuks, cook tasty meals and help with anything you need. It‘s in the middle of the jungle with a beautiful view. Their are no windows, so it may be loud during the night when the dogs bark, so bring along some ear plugs.

We stayed in Mawanella at Mystay for just one night, however we wish we could stay longer! A spacious, comfortable room with multiple areas in the room and outside to relax. Friendly, accommodating host family, made us delicious food, and showed us around town.

The best accomodation! Really friendly staff. Everything was clean. Beautiful terace with jungle view. They also provide breakfast/lunch/dinner if you want to. You can do the laundry there. We planned to stay one night, but in the end we stayed for two instead! There is a lot of shops and restaurants nearby, so everything you need is there!

Gaya is the best host ever, taking me on excursions and to medical appointments (acupuncture nearby was great and so affordable)cooking for me (ask her to make her delicious salad) and providing this elegant space to relax in. Her friend Samira provided transportation to and from the airport and for a day trip into the hills where tea is grown. Such beautiful scenery. Thanks, Gaya!
